Transaxles

Albins Transaxles

The Albins AGB series of transaxles was designed specifically for the extreme shock loads and harsh environment found in the world of off-road racing. This no compromise line of transaxles has been improved upon and refined since its inception and is fast becoming theindustry standard. An already impressive list of race wins and class championships continues to grow with the addition of Unlimited Class victories in the 2010 SCORE Baja 500, Baja 1000, and BITD Vegas to Reno races.

Weddle Industries is proud to have been involved with the AGB transaxle program since the beginning, providing service, maintaining a complete inventory of replacement parts, and supporting a comprehensive network of AGB transaxles dealers.

AGB 11.5" Low Shift

Weddle Industries imported the first AGB low-shift transaxle to North America in 2002 for a very specific car, the Paradigm sand car. By the standards of the time, the Paradigm car was huge. Running a blown V-8 and big custom paddles, it broke every transaxle the owners put in it. When the Albins survived the abuse dished out by this car, we knew we were on to something. The shift shaft exits the transaxle from the top of the nosecone on the passenger side in a rear engine application ... See More

If you are going to push your driveline to the limit, this is the transaxle you need. ... See More

AGB 10" Low Shift

The Albins 10" low shift transaxle utilizes the same robust gear stacks as its big brother, coupled with a 10" ring and pinion. As a result of the 10" ring and pinion, smaller differential, and smaller case, this unit is 30 pounds lighter and much more compact than the full size Albins. The smaller size of this trans makes it ideal for limited class racecars or installation into an existing chassis ... See More
